A Beautiful Fall...

Our “grunge chic” post yesterday got us thinking about fresh takes on fall beauty too – now that our wardrobe is changing, we think it’s time for a few tweaks to the rest of our routine. Here are a few of our fall essentials:

Love the idea of next-day, bedhead hair, but afraid you’ll look like a dirtball if you try it? Don’t worry, we’ve figured out how to solve the problem: dry shampoo. It’s genius because it not only saves your hair from drying hot water and damaging styling; it gives us amazing texture (and isn’t fall all about texture?). Pick up a can at CVS or Walgreens (TRESemme` makes a good one) or splurge at sephora.com, and start saving time and water!

Hair isn’t the only thing that dries out when the temperature drops. Keep lips and skin hydrated and pretty with all-in-one products like tinted moisturizer and lip balm (find the Fresh version pictured below at Missoula’s own SkinChic!), and cream eyeshadow in flattering, neutral colors. Our kai body lotion and butter are the perfect finishing touch to your updated fall beauty routine – super hydrating with a delicious, rich gardenia scent.

So here's the scoop... We went to the Jewel when she came through our humble abode. Couldn't help but fall in love...Empty stage, just a girl and her guitar. WOW. When you thought the night couldn't get any better i.e. a glass of wine, beautiful lighting, amazing vocals, and great lyrics... the darling gal wrote and sang this little diddy..

Grungy is chic!

Take a dressy top and wear it casual. Hair a mess? Is it one of those days? Rock a dressed up top with with a little bit of GRUNGE. Pair this look with some holey jeans, a pair of converse, and some sunglasses. Don't forget to NOT look in the mirror.

It may be starting to cool down in Missoula, however, that's not the case at Nolita! Last Friday marked the day of our first photo shoot with smokin' hot Holly. Playing dress up with friends? Yup, you guessed right, it doesn't get much better than that!
